Speakers:
Dott. Paolo Moscetta, Prevention Technician. Judicial Police Officer – Prevention Department, ASL RM 2 The course provides a technical and operational analysis of the new obligations introduced by Legislative Decree 18/2023, as amended and supplemented by Legislative Decree 102/2025, implementing EU Directive 2184/2020, with specific reference to risk assessment and management in internal drinking water systems within buildings.
The focus is on the allocation of responsibilities, the definition of new stakeholder roles—particularly the Internal Drinking Water System Manager (GIDI)—and the requirements related to the proper implementation of control systems. It also considers the implications for Employers, HSE Managers, RSPP, and ASPP, with the aim of providing both interpretative and practical tools for compliant and effective application of current regulations.
The training program clearly distinguishes between obligations applicable to priority buildings (such as healthcare facilities, hospitality structures, catering services, barracks, educational institutions with sports facilities, sports, fitness and wellness centers, and bathing establishments) and non-priority buildings (such as offices, educational institutions, commercial activities, condominiums, and residential buildings). It examines classification criteria, risk assessment obligations, monitoring activities, document management, and corrective measures.

Speakers: Dr. Claudio Calì, Expert in public relations and communication. In this field, he works as a trainer in specific courses and as a consultant, working with professionals, managers, public institutions and private companies. For the latter, he also intervenes in the context of internal communication in order to improve the work climate and the organizational well-being. He also gives communication courses in the field of occupational health and safety (updates and legal qualifications) on the topics of technostress, persuasive communication and organisational well-being. He is a civil mediator.Risk perception depends on rational factors, such as the use of probability and logic, but is also strongly influenced by emotions. Consequently, emotions play a crucial role both in conveying the extent of a risk and in how it is perceived.
For safety professionals, it is essential to be able to step into the workers' shoes and ensure that they align with the professional’s concept of risk for the purpose of effective prevention.
To achieve this goal, it is necessary to possess the right communication tools and understand the ideal strategies to become more convincing and persuasive.
This meeting aims to provide employers, managers, supervisors, RSPPs, ASPPs, and all those in prevention roles with the most suitable tools to become credible leaders and positively influence worker behavior.

Speakers:
Michele Montagna, AMPA (Preventive and Adapted Motor Activities) Kinesiologist, Posturologist, Doctor of Motor Sciences, Certified Occupational Health and Safety Trainer, Consultant and Trainer in Workplace Ergonomics, Specializing in Preventing the Risk of Occupational Musculoskeletal Diseases. The evolution of production requires a shift from formal safety to Systemic Ergonomics. By analyzing "work-as-done" rather than just "work-as-imagined" (written procedures), this course reveals the ergonomic, musculoskeletal, and cognitive risks that standard protocols often fail to capture. The approach is based on contemporary studies in biomechanics and neurophysiology to identify the deep criticalities within work dynamics. Moving beyond a purely chart-based perspective, this program provides the tools to analyze risks where conventional assessments prove insufficient.
The objective is to equip participants with a new methodological sensitivity to integrate ergonomics into decision-making processes, transforming well-being into a lever for efficiency and sustainable competitiveness. The course provides operational tools for the strategic planning of interventions. Through targeted criteria, participants will learn to structure progressive action plans: from immediate corrections to a broad long-term vision, ensuring effective and adaptable solutions for every specific corporate context through short, medium, and long-term interventions.

| COURSE ROOM 8PAV. B – LANE B4 09:15 - 11:15 | Artificial Intelligence in Occupational Health and Safety. Ethical Principles, Transparency, and Obligations under Law 132/2025 Responsibility, Limitations, and Regulatory Compliance in AI Usage € 30,00 (+IVA) Total capacity: 30 - Available seats: 26 | | Edited by: Istituto INFORMA
Speakers:
Ing. Fabrizio Bolognesi, Aerospace Engineer with over twenty years of experience in sales and organizational management in multinational companies. Safety trainer. Expert in integrating Artificial Intelligence into organizations
Artificial Intelligence is increasingly entering health and safety processes in the workplace, but its adoption cannot be treated solely as a technological matter. Every AI application—especially when it impacts people, work organization, assessments, monitoring, or decision support—demands careful attention to ethical profiles, transparency, human oversight, and regulatory compliance.
In Italy, Law No. 132 of September 23, 2025, introduced a national framework for AI principles and governance in alignment with the European AI Act. Central references include transparency, proportionality, security, personal data protection, accuracy, non-discrimination, and sustainability. Furthermore, the law regulates specific areas, including labor and industrial relations, and designates AgID (Agency for Digital Italy) and ACN (National Cybersecurity Agency) as the national authorities responsible for notification, monitoring, and oversight.
This course offers a clear and operational interpretation of this landscape, helping participants understand where the benefits of automation end and where responsibilities, limits, and obligations begin.
The objective is to provide useful criteria for evaluating the use of AI within organizational contexts and prevention processes, avoiding both naive enthusiasm and preconceived rejection. The goal is to promote an adoption that is conscious, documentable, and consistent with the current regulatory framework.
The EU AI Act follows a risk-based approach, with more stringent requirements for high-risk systems and full general applicability from August 2, 2026, while certain provisions are already in force.

Speakers:
Ing. Fabrizio Bolognesi, Aerospace Engineer with over twenty years of experience in sales and organizational management in multinational companies. Safety trainer. Expert in integrating Artificial Intelligence into organizations
Artificial Intelligence (AI) is now at the center of technological and organizational debate, often described in a polarized way between extraordinary opportunities and risks for human work.
This course offers a practical and balanced approach, presenting AI for what it really is: a set of technologies that can also support occupational health and safety processes.
After a brief introduction to the meaning and evolution of AI, the course explores its two main application areas: Machine Learning, based on learning from data, and Generative AI, focused on content creation. These technologies are analyzed from a Safety perspective, highlighting practical use cases such as the recognition of situations and behaviors, as well as support in the production and management of content and documentation.
The session will have a strongly practical focus, including examples and live demonstrations, and will provide participants with useful criteria to evaluate the use of AI in an informed, realistic, and context-consistent way.
By the end of the course, participants will be able to understand the key concepts of AI, distinguish between Machine Learning and Generative AI, and recognize their opportunities, limitations, and potential applications in the field of prevention.

If workers are not motivated to adopt safe and responsible behaviours, even the most appropriate (and legally required) preventive measures risk being ineffective.
The Consolidated Act on Health and Safety at Work provides, at least on paper, the necessary safeguards. However, the real barriers often lie within our own minds, habits, and beliefs.
Breaking down biases and unsafe routines is a challenging but essential task for safety professionals.
This session aims to encourage reflection among employers, managers, supervisors, RSPP, ASPP, and all those involved in prevention roles on the importance of motivating workers towards safe behaviours, and on how to achieve effective and sustainable motivation in practice.

Speakers: Avv. Prof. Antonio Porpora, PhD in Labour Law and Industrial Relations; Adjunct Professor at Sapienza University of Rome, Criminal and Labour Law; Member of the Rome Bar, admitted to practice before the Supreme Court; Member of the 231 Supervisory for Health, Safety, and Environment. The year 2025 was characterized, on one hand, by consistently concerning accident data and, on the other, by the conclusion of several judicial cases of significant interest to the sector. This was accompanied by relevant regulatory interventions aimed at tackling the phenomenon of workplace accidents through more effective measures and safer behavioral standards.
The specific strengthening of behavioral control—following the regulatory requirement to formally identify supervisors (preposti)—was followed by an in-depth legal analysis regarding the broader theme of behavioral monitoring at all levels. This has led to the further affirmation of "high-level vigilance" duties (alta vigilanza) incumbent upon administrative bodies toward employers, particularly within organizations adopting multi-employer models.
In a broader sense, the risk of fallibility can be traced back to two spheres:
• Subjective: relating to behavioral risk or the "human factor." This has led to specific reinforcements regarding the effectiveness of training (including on-site monitoring and the requirement for recorded practical training, even when supported by technology) and the bolstered role of the supervisor (preposto);
• Objective: relating to "maintenance risk." This has resulted in a renewed emphasis on technical standards and the identification of key figures responsible for equipment and installations—specifically for management, maintenance, and emergency procedures—alongside an increase in related technical-professional requirements.
Management systems, through necessary reporting and the balanced identification of its methods and contents, have become decisive elements in ensuring the robustness of organizational models, including for the purposes of liability exemption under Legislative Decree 231/2001.

D.ssa Enrica Piermattei, Occupational and Organizational Psychologist. Since 2006, she has been the founder, director, and partner of Elidea Psychologists Associates. She focuses on training and skills development projects, work-related stress risk assessments, personal and professional safety and well-being, organizational consulting, selection, orientation, and placement, and individual and group life and executive coaching for client organizations across various market sectors. In professional activities, many decisions are made under pressure, urgency, or emergency conditions. In these cases, risk undervaluation, cognitive biases, and emotional reactions are just some of the factors that can significantly influence worker behavior, increasing the probability of human error. For those responsible for organizational safety, managing these possibilities and situations represents a complex but necessary challenge.
What can be done, then, to reduce this risk? How can we support more effective and conscious behavior in critical situations? Are there tools available to help safety officers recognize and manage the factors that influence decisions and intervene in a credible and effective manner?
This session is designed for employers, managers, supervisors, RSPPs, ASPPs, and everyone involved in organizational safety. Drawing on the contribution of occupational psychology applied to safety, we will share the principles of human mechanics and practical tools to understand decision-making mechanisms under pressure, prevent human error in such scenarios, and strengthen the ability to act and positively influence safe, conscious individual and collective behaviors.

In an increasingly complex organizational context, safety cannot be considered merely a set of rules to be followed or applied "from the top down." Instead, it is a dynamic process built through the active contribution of individuals. This seminar, using the LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® methodology, offers an innovative approach to exploring safety as a result of collaboration and collective intelligence.
By using LEGO® bricks as a tool for expression and thought, participants will be guided through a journey of shared construction, where experiences, perceptions, and critical issues emerge and are transformed into concrete solutions. Every model becomes a narrative, and every narrative an opportunity to better understand one’s own role in creating safer work environments.
The LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® approach fosters active engagement, widespread participation, and constructive dialogue, allowing communication barriers to be broken down and new perspectives to be activated. Through co-creation, the group develops a shared vision of safety, identifying practical and sustainable actions to be implemented within their own work context.
The objective of the seminar is to demonstrate how safety can become a truly shared responsibility, transforming every participant into a protagonist of change and contributing concretely to the continuous improvement of HSE performance.

Through illusionism effects, participants discover how selective attention, distorted perception, and overconfidence daily influence the way we make decisions and assess risks.
The course bridges these psychological mechanisms with the real-world dynamics of prevention: from the underestimation of hazards to the failure to follow procedures, and from the misinterpretation of signals to risky behaviors driven by haste or habit.
By the end of the session, participants will have acquired practical tools to recognize cognitive deceptions, improve operational focus, and adopt safer behaviors in the workplace.
Safe Magic transforms wonder into learning and magic into an ally for prevention.

| | | CONFERENCE ROOM APAV. A – LANE A4 12:00 - 13:30 | Understanding behavior through context: the human factor as a strategic lever for workplace prevention 100-seat hall - Free admission (subject to seat availability) | | Edited by: Eni S.p.A. Today, safety can no longer be limited to procedures, standards, or the sole analysis of incidents. To evolve, it is necessary to understand how people actually operate in the field and which factors—organizational, cultural, and contextual—influence their daily decisions.
In an increasingly technological and regulated context, what can be defined as a safety paradox emerges: the human element, often considered a source of error, is actually the only one capable of managing the unexpected and making sense of operational uncertainty.
Behavior analysis therefore represents one of the main drivers of the development of prevention systems, because it allows us to place the human factor at the center of safety, opening new perspectives on risk, reliability, and operational performance.
The workshop explores this approach, showing how structured observation of real-world work, interpreted in conjunction with the organizational and cultural context, allows us to intercept weak signals, strengthen safety barriers, and intervene before an event occurs.
This contribution offers a modern vision of security, in which behavior is not the problem to be fixed, but an essential key to improving the system as a whole.

Speakers:
Alessandro Rossetti, Mechanical Engineer, Expert Trainer in Occupational Health and Safety
Luca Terranova in arte Mago Novas, Illusionist, Italian Magic ChampionThis session explores how the brain reacts in situations of risk, urgency, or operational pressure, where rapid decision-making and high mental workloads can trigger critical errors.
Through illusionism effects that simulate the sensation of being in a rush, participants will visualize their own perceptual distortions typical of high-pressure moments.
The goal is to understand that under stress or time constraints, we are less likely to notice hazards, more likely to overestimate our own abilities, and tend to act on "autopilot."
Magic thus becomes a practical key to recognizing cognitive limitations and acquiring useful strategies to maintain clarity, reduce mistakes, and face risky situations in a safer, more conscious way.

Speakers: Dott.ssa Chiara Visconti, RSPP, Trainer, Consultant, and Lead Auditor in the fields of Legislative Decree 231/01, Health and Safety at Work, Environment, and Quality; HSEQ and MOG Management System DesignerIn a landscape characterized by increasing regulatory complexity and a strong push toward the ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) approach, compliance can no longer be managed as a collection of separate obligations. Instead, it demands an integrated, structured, and value-oriented approach. In this context, management systems take on a central role as the organizational architecture capable of linking regulatory requirements, risk management, and sustainability goals.
The seminar explores the concept of integrated compliance as a governance lever, highlighting how alignment between management systems (Quality, Environment, Health and Safety, and Compliance) allows organizations to move beyond a "siloed" mentality. This alignment facilitates the development of organizational models that are coherent, transparent, and geared toward creating sustainable value. Consequently, compliance evolves from a formal obligation into a strategic tool, capable of supporting decision-making processes and strengthening the overall reliability of the organization.
The objective of the seminar is to provide a framework to stimulate reflection on the transition from formal compliance to integrated and conscious compliance, as an essential element of organizational processes and decisions.

Speakers:
Dr. Anna Villani, Occupational safety trainer. Security Manager certified according to UNI 10459:2017 and Lead Auditor certified according to UNI PdR 125 (Gender Equality), ISO 30415 (Diversity & Inclusion), and ISO 28000 (Security Management). Twenty years of experience designing security systems, risk management, compliance, and complex organizational models in the risk management field.
Incidents of discrimination, aggression, and violence in the workplace are emerging risks that are increasingly widespread within corporate organizations, particularly in companies and entities operating in specific areas or sectors.
The concept of Duty of Care implies the principle that the employer is responsible for the well-being of their employees in every circumstance involving professional performance. Furthermore, the Consolidated Law (Legislative Decree 81/08) places extreme emphasis on the employer’s duty of protection, including the assessment of such risks.
The themes of gender equality, diversity, and inclusion (DE&I) represent a significant regulatory opportunity for organizations to mitigate these risks, in line with the current legislative context.
The purpose of this session is to illustrate the interconnections between current legislation and the adoption of international best practices and standards regarding gender equality, diversity, and inclusion policies. We will specifically focus on the Reference Practice UNI/PdR 125:2022 (Gender Equality) and ISO 30415:2021 (Diversity and Inclusion), highlighting their strategic role in this field.

Speakers:
Emanuele Nicolini, Business consultant, expert instructor in fire safety, explosion risk assessment (ATEX), and emergency management.
The echoes of the recent tragedy in Crans-Montana have reignited the debate on safety in crowded places, particularly those open to the public. Images and eyewitness accounts remind us that, despite regulatory evolution, a combination of deficiencies can still transform a venue into a trap in a shockingly short amount of time during a fire.
While the investigation into the events in Switzerland takes its course, the science and conscience of safety compel us not to wait to understand what "can go wrong" during an emergency evacuation.
This course offers a "cool-headed" technical analysis, starting from the recurring dynamics observed in major disasters of the past, such as: The Station Nightclub (USA), the Kiss nightclub (Brazil), and Grenfell Tower (UK).
By reconstructing these extensively analyzed events, the course will provide participants with the insights needed to identify the systemic vulnerabilities that, unfortunately, continue to resurface in modern-day tragedies.
