At Safety Expo Occupational Health and Safety each attendee can earn different types of training credits. In order to receive them, it is necessary to provide all the required information during the registration process.

Refresher hours 81/08
Some of the events held at Safety Expo Occupational Health and Safety, are valid as refresher hours pursuant to Legislative Decree 81/08 as amended. RSPP (Prevention and Protection Service Managers), ASPP (Prevention and Protection Service Officers), Employers, Managers, Supervisors, Training Instructors and Coordinators for the design and execution of works.
- training courses with a maximum of 30 participants. These courses are subject to payment at the time of online booking. The participant must sign in and out upon entering and exiting the hall. To obtain the 81/08 certificate, completing the final learning test is mandatory.
- Training courses with a maximum of 15 participants. Paid courses are available upon online reservation. Attendance is mandatory upon entry and exit. To obtain the 81/08 certificate, completion of the final learning test is mandatory.
- Some conferences or seminars
  Admission is free subject to availability. In order to obtain the refresher hours, the participant must sign in and out upon entering and exiting the hall. To obtain the 81/08 certificate, completing the final learning test is mandatory.
Late arrivals or partial participations are not permitted.
Professional Training Credits (CFPs)
Attendance in some conferences during the Safety Expo Occupational Health and Safety will be recognised for professional development credits in accordance with the Professional Development Regulations issued by the National Councils of:
- Engineers
- Architects, Planners, Landscapers and Conservationists
- Industrial Experts and University Graduate Industrial Experts
- Surveyors and graduate surveyors
- Agronomists and graduate agronomists
- - Agrotechnicians and Graduate Agrotechnicians
It is mandatory to track attendance in and out of the room.
Late or partial attendance will not be allowed.

How to obtain and use Safety Expo training credits

The recognition of CFPs and 81/08 refresher training hours is linked to participation in the specific sessions indicated in the Safety Expo program. For this reason, before registering, it is important to check the individual event page to see which credits or refresher training hours are provided.

The number of credits or hours recognized may vary depending on the duration and type of session. The program identifies the events valid for refresher training pursuant to Legislative Decree 81/08 and those valid for the awarding of CFPs. For example, some two-hour conferences may provide both 81/08 refresher training and the recognition of CFPs. To find out the number of hours or credits associated with each event, it is therefore necessary to refer to the relevant page in the Safety Expo program.

Registration, attendance and issuance of the certificate

To request credits, it is necessary to provide your professional information when registering for the Safety Expo and select, where applicable, the request for CFPs and/or 81/08 refresher training hours.

Participation must be complete: for sessions that provide for the issuance of certificates, attendance must be recorded upon entry and exit and, for 81/08 refresher training, passing the final learning test may also be required. Delays or partial participation are therefore not permitted.

The qualifying certificates relating to 81/08 refresher training hours and CFPs are made available in the participant's reserved area, according to the timeframes indicated by the organization. CFPs, where recognized, are subsequently uploaded by the relevant Professional Orders or Colleges to their respective platforms.

For this reason, the certificate also constitutes the document to be retained as proof of participation in the training activity and, where applicable, to allow your Professional Order or College to complete the registration of the credits.

CFPs and 81/08 refresher training: pay attention to the type of event

Not all Safety Expo events provide the same credits. Conferences, seminars and training courses may have different participation methods and requirements: some events are free and accessible subject to availability, while training courses may require a reservation and an online purchase.

It is therefore advisable to always consult the event page before participating, specifically checking:

the type of session;
any 81/08 refresher training hours recognized;
any CFPs awarded;
registration and participation procedures;
any additional requirements, such as completing the final test.

Validity of refresher training and training credits

The issuance of a certificate does not mean that all training activities have the same validity period. The frequency of refresher training depends on the professional role, the type of training and the applicable legislation or regulations. For safety roles subject to the refresher training required by Legislative Decree 81/08, such as RSPPs, ASPPs, managers, supervisors, trainers and other relevant roles, it is therefore necessary to verify the specific requirements established by the legislation in force and by any applicable agreements. Likewise, for professionals registered with a Professional Order or College, the validity and obligations relating to CFPs must be verified on the basis of the regulations of their professional category.

The credits obtained during the Safety Expo must therefore be considered within the professional's overall training path: participation in a single event does not automatically replace all refresher training obligations that may be required for their qualification.
