Events with the potential to cause harm to people, equipment, and organizational systems require timely and effective responses aimed at protecting workers’ health and safeguarding company assets. In this context, occupational health and safety management systems aligned with Organizational and Management Models (Article 30 of Legislative Decree 81/08) include the analysis and handling of near misses and non-conformities—a topic that has been further strengthened by recent legislation (Law 29 December 2025, No. 198).
The new regulatory framework introduces ministerial guidelines for the identification, tracking, and analysis of near misses in companies with more than 15 employees, enhancing and systematizing experiences and procedures already developed by INAIL, also in collaboration with social partners.
The course presents the updated regulatory framework and future developments, providing an in-depth overview of methodologies and operational tools for near miss management. It also highlights the role of HSE Managers, RSPP, and ASPP in implementing reporting, analysis, documentation, and continuous improvement processes, emphasizing the value of near misses as a strategic lever for strengthening prevention and fostering organizational growth.

Valid as a 2-hour refresher course in accordance with Legislative Decree 81/08, in collaboration with the University of Roma Tre
Final test completion is mandatory for certification.
