Artificial Intelligence (AI) is now at the center of technological and organizational debate, often described in a polarized way between extraordinary opportunities and risks for human work.
This course offers a practical and balanced approach, presenting AI for what it really is: a set of technologies that can also support occupational health and safety processes.
After a brief introduction to the meaning and evolution of AI, the course explores its two main application areas: Machine Learning, based on learning from data, and Generative AI, focused on content creation. These technologies are analyzed from a Safety perspective, highlighting practical use cases such as the recognition of situations and behaviors, as well as support in the production and management of content and documentation.
The session will have a strongly practical focus, including examples and live demonstrations, and will provide participants with useful criteria to evaluate the use of AI in an informed, realistic, and context-consistent way.
By the end of the course, participants will be able to understand the key concepts of AI, distinguish between Machine Learning and Generative AI, and recognize their opportunities, limitations, and potential applications in the field of prevention.
Valid as a 2-hour refresher course in accordance with Legislative Decree 81/08, in collaboration with the University of Roma Tre
Final test completion is mandatory for certification.
