With the entry into force of the new fire safety regulations established by the Ministerial Decree of September 2, 2021, all practical fire drills must be conducted using designated fire pits or simulators, prioritizing the use of water-based extinguishers. Furthermore, for practical training in 2-FOR and 3-FOR courses—as well as 5-FOR five-year renewals—drills involving UNI 45 and UNI 70 hydrants must include actual water discharge.
The U.M.I.A. (Mobile Water Training Unit) was patented by SalSicAmb Srl engineers to meet these new fire safety regulations. It provides a fully equipped mobile training facility featuring LPG-powered fire pits or simulators, water, CO2, and dry powder extinguishers for fire suppression, and UNI 70 and UNI 45 hydrants and hose reels for water discharge drills.
The U.M.I.A. will serve as a center of training excellence right at your company premises, minimizing lost time and the need for staff travel while ensuring compliance with mandatory regulations.
