COURSE ROOM 9
PAV. B – LANE B4

In professional activities, many decisions are made under pressure, urgency, or emergency conditions. In these cases, risk undervaluation, cognitive biases, and emotional reactions are just some of the factors that can significantly influence worker behavior, increasing the probability of human error. For those responsible for organizational safety, managing these possibilities and situations represents a complex but necessary challenge.
What can be done, then, to reduce this risk? How can we support more effective and conscious behavior in critical situations? Are there tools available to help safety officers recognize and manage the factors that influence decisions and intervene in a credible and effective manner?
This session is designed for employers, managers, supervisors, RSPPs, ASPPs, and everyone involved in organizational safety. Drawing on the contribution of occupational psychology applied to safety, we will share the principles of human mechanics and practical tools to understand decision-making mechanisms under pressure, prevent human error in such scenarios, and strengthen the ability to act and positively influence safe, conscious individual and collective behaviors.
Valid as a 2-hour refresher course in accordance with Legislative Decree 81/08, in collaboration with the University of Roma Tre
Final test completion is mandatory for certification.
