Part One (Classroom) – 45 minutes
• Regulatory references, overview of case law trends, and Safety First Protocol.
• Introduction to risk assessment in confined or potentially contaminated spaces.
• Guidance on Category III PPE and rescue operations.
Part Two (UMA Special Vehicle) – 1 hour 15 minutes
• Practical demonstration of proper techniques for using Category III PPE in confined spaces.
• Demonstrations on the use of personal protective equipment and vertical/horizontal rescue equipment using the Mobile Training Unit (UMA).
• Overview of correct maintenance procedures for Category III PPE.
Valid as a 2-hour refresher course in accordance with Legislative Decree 81/08, in collaboration with the University of Roma Tre
Final test completion is mandatory for certification.
