The evolution of organizations and production contexts is making an approach to occupational health and safety based solely on compliance, formal procedures, and episodic responses to regulatory requirements increasingly ineffective.
This course offers a reflection on the value of management systems as tools for organization, governance, and continuous improvement in prevention. From this perspective, safety is not treated as a set of obligations to be fulfilled, but as a process to be planned, managed, and integrated into corporate decision-making, roles, responsibilities, and operational activities.
Through practical examples and application criteria, the course highlights the key elements that make a management system truly effective: context analysis, risk assessment, objective setting, people engagement, performance monitoring, and the management of critical issues as well as improvement opportunities.
The aim is to provide participants with a concrete interpretative framework to understand how a management system can transform occupational health and safety from a formal compliance requirement into an organizational lever capable of strengthening prevention, operational effectiveness, and long-term sustainability.
Valid as a 2-hour refresher course in accordance with Legislative Decree 81/08, in collaboration with the University of Roma Tre
Final test completion is mandatory for certification.
