SAFETY INTERACTION POINT – SWS
PAV. B – LANE B4
Edited by:
SWS with BLOK
In this session, the
Blok
team will debunk common myths about
hearing protection
and provide practical tools for
correctly selecting and evaluating hearing PPE
. Topics range from occupational hearing loss and tinnitus to the criteria that truly make a difference: attenuation, comfort, compatibility with other PPE, proper usage, and training.
We will also explore how to move from "stated" protection to "actual" protection by looking at attenuation calculations, the ß-factor, and the Personal Attenuation Rating (PAR).
A practical session
packed with real-world examples
, designed for RSPPs, HSE Managers, and safety professionals who want to verify whether the hearing protection used in their company is truly effective.
The Safety Interaction Point is an experiential stand dedicated to RSPPs and HSE professionals.
It features a small testing area where safety professionals can interact directly with personal protective equipment.
This initiative, organized in collaboration with PPE manufacturers, serves as a dynamic hub for experiencing safety firsthand.
The event is free to attend while places last.
