In the organizational sphere, the digitalization of work processes significantly alters operating methods, behaviors, and risk perception. In this context, safety depends not only on the reliability of technology but also on how people interact with increasingly complex digital systems. Indeed, automation, digital tools, and new interfaces influence attention, decisions, and behaviors, introducing new forms of risk and human error.
How, then, can we guide digital transformation while keeping the human factor, behavior, and risk at the center? How can we prevent innovation from introducing "hidden" vulnerabilities related to the way people interact with systems and processes? What tools allow us to interpret these changes and intervene effectively regarding behavior? How can we support conscious behavior in digitalized environments?
This session is aimed at RSPPs, ASPPs, and safety professionals. Drawing on the contribution of occupational psychology, we will explore the main emerging risks and the most frequent errors in digitalization processes that fail to account for the human factor. We will also share best practices to consciously support the development of a safety culture that is consistent with today’s new work environments.

Valid as a 2-hour refresher course in accordance with Legislative Decree 81/08, in collaboration with the University of Roma Tre
