With a fatality rate of 10%, the Legionella bacterium represents a significant threat to anyone coming into contact with contaminated facilities.
In this seminar, we will address issues related to the Assessment, Prevention, and Management of Legionella from all technical and regulatory perspectives. We will also focus on the recent "Drinking Water Decree" (Legislative Decree 18/2023) concerning water intended for human consumption.
Furthermore, we will explore the advantages of Artificial Intelligence algorithms in Legionella risk assessment, which help reduce the potential for error during the data processing phase.
Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) and the cleanliness of HVAC systems in the workplace are vital parameters for the health of occupants.
We will cover all topics related to IAQ and air duct sanitization, which are essential for preventing the transmission and proliferation of biological pathogens in work environments.
Valid as a 2-hour refresher course in accordance with Legislative Decree 81/08, in collaboration with the University of Roma Tre
Final test completion is mandatory for certification.

Dr. Giampaolo Sarao, A biologist and Air System Cleaning Specialist at NADCA, he is one of the leading speakers on Legionella in Italy. An expert in hygiene service planning and environmental investigations, he has been working on Legionella, analysis, and system remediation and disinfection solutions for over 10 years.
