Organized by the INFORMA Institute in collaboration with Roma Tre University and by AIFOS, the Italian Association of Safety Trainers and Operators, the training and practical training courses touch on the most current safety and prevention issues, allowing professionals and managers to increase their skills and acquire hours of refresher training for the purpose of maintaining their role and profession.
The teachers who hold the courses are chosen among the most authoritative experts in the various disciplines. The use of innovative teaching methodologies and techniques contributes to the creation of quality training moments.

The training courses are reserved for a maximum of 30 participants, last two hours and provide hours 81/08 refresher training.
The practical training courses are reserved for a maximum of 15 participants, last two hours and provide hours 81/08 refresher training.

To obtain the 81/08 certificate, completing the final learning test is mandatory.

What happens during training courses and practical training sessions

The Safety Expo training courses cover the most relevant aspects of occupational health and safety through in-depth sessions dedicated to regulations, risk assessment, prevention procedures and the operating methods to be adopted in different work environments.

Practical training sessions, on the other hand, combine theoretical explanations with exercises and demonstrations that allow participants to deal directly with situations and tools used in safety management. Depending on the topic covered, simulations, technical tests, demonstrations on the use of PPE and activities aimed at understanding the correct operating procedures may be included.

How to prepare for a practical training session

Training vs refresher training: what is the difference?

The training required to fulfil an initial obligation should not be confused with refresher training activities. Depending on the requirements of the individual training path, the courses and sessions offered during the Safety Expo may be intended to update the skills of professionals who have already been trained.
For this reason, before registering, it is important to check on the individual course page which professional role it is intended for, which credits or refresher training hours it awards and which training obligation they can be used for.

How to choose the training content most useful to you

Before selecting a course, it is useful to start from your role and the company's needs. An RSPP or HSE Manager, for example, might prioritize regulatory updates, risk management and governance topics, while a professional involved in the operational management of safety may have a greater interest in technical activities and practical training sessions.

The Safety Expo courses provide refresher training hours for the purposes of Legislative Decree 81/08 and, for activities where applicable, Continuing Professional Development Credits (CFPs) may also be recognized for specific professional categories.

It is not necessary to address all safety topics with the same level of detail: a targeted selection allows you to make better use of the time available during the event.

A particularly useful topic to explore is that of near misses, namely events that could have caused an injury or damage but did not result in consequences. How long does a course last?
Each training or practical training session included in the program lasts two hours. A concentrated duration makes it possible to include several training activities in the same day and to organize time between courses, conferences and visits to the exhibition area.
