The seminar explores strategies and technologies for smoke control in complex environments, with a specific focus on stairwells, underground car parks, and shopping centres.
It examines technical solutions such as pressure differential systems (PDS), horizontal ventilation, and smoke and heat exhaust ventilation systems (pSHEVS), presenting real-world case studies and application models. The course integrates the use of European technical standards with a performance-based approach through Fire Safety Engineering (FSE).
