SEMINAR ROOM 1

PAV. A – LANE A1

One of the main direct and indirect causes of fires in living and working environments is of electrical origin. It is therefore essential to identify hazards and assess fire risks by making the best use of the available performance-based regulations.
The outcomes of the risk assessment enable us to select and design the most effective active fire protection solutions.
In this regard, the case study analysis focuses on innovative applications of Fire Detection and Alarm Systems (FDAS) and aerosol fire suppression systems with localized configurations, particularly in metropolitan infrastructures and high-occupancy environments.
An additional challenge for professionals in the field is ensuring long-term compliance of active fire protection systems, especially in relation to the declarations required for the Fire Prevention Certificate (SCIA Antincendio) and for the periodic renewal of fire safety compliance.e.
